Family Life

Mr. Zachary Wichmann is the CCI staffperson for the Family Life Department.

Priorities

The Family Life Department has established the following priorities:

• Strengthen marriage and family through programs, through encouragement of a family perspective in all areas of church and society, and through policy analysis and legislative advocacy.
• Implement the USCCB Marriage Initiative through education, dissemination, collaboration.
• Support and encourage families experiencing death, divorce and other life altering situations.
• Prepare engaged couples for living the vocation of Christian marriage.
• Encourage couples to embrace the Church's teaching on marital chastity, cohabitation, and Natural Family Planning.
