Education – Catechesis

Mr. Zachary Wichmann is the CCI staffperson for the Education – Catechesis Department.

Priorities

The Education – Catechesis Department has established the following priorities:

• Support and encourage credible catechetical leadership based on competency certification standards developed by professional organizations and approved by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).
• Advocate for continuing efforts in evangelizing adult faith formation, especially for parents in their role as the primary religious educators of their children.
• Promote quality catechesis through effective catechist formation programs.
• Assist the Bishops of the Province in articulating responses to current catechetical issues presented by our culture.
